Data4Safety: A European Data-Driven Aviation Safety Framework

ALG collaborated with EASA as the Data Analytics Provider during the proof-of-concept phase of the Data4Safety program, a European big data analytics platform for aviation safety. The program collects vast amounts of data from across the aviation industry to identify systemic risks and proactively address them.

ALG, as part of a consultant consortium, developed Saudi Arabia’s Road Sector Strategy and Road Master Plan. The country aims to enhance connectivity and infrastructure quality as part of Vision 2030. ALG analyzed the current road network and compared it with future mobility needs and global best practices.

The aviation industry in Latin America has experienced rapid growth during the last two decades, especially in the main airports of the region. If this situation persists, it will severely hinder their capacity to efficiently respond to future demand. 

In a world increasingly defined by connectivity and cooperation, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Railway project stands out as one of the most transformative infrastructure initiatives in the Middle East. Stretching over 2,100 kilometers and connecting Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, the railway is far more than a transport project, it is a strategic enabler of regional integration and economic transformation.

In recent years, railways have begun to regain a central role in Mexico’s national infrastructure agenda. Ambitious projects have been launched in both freight and passenger sectors to reverse the historical relegation of this transport mode in favor of road transport and aviation. In freight, the focus has been on consolidating logistics corridors that connect ports, borders, and key industries. In passenger transport, the government has announced the development of approximately 3,000 kilometers of new railway lines.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) is one of the fundamental pillars of the modern aviation system. Professionals in this field are responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of aircraft in airspace and at airport surfaces, ensuring that take-offs, landings, and flight paths are carried out safely and efficiently. This task requires a combination of technical, cognitive, and emotional skills, making ATC one of the most demanding professions within the transportation sector.
